Schuh Farms

Today Maddix and Mommy went to the Pumpkin Patch at Schuh Farms. There was a petting zoo, pumpkins, bouncy house and tractor rides! We had such a great time!

The boat!

Last weekend we went on the boat to Rosario Resort with our good friend Pat, Tamar and Will. Maddix loves the boat! He also took his first header in the boat while daddy was supposed to be watching him. Luckily he didn't cry too much. I think it hurt mommy more than him.

Maddix is 8 Mos!

Maddix Loves to be pushed around in his Tonka Truck! He even wears his safety hat!

He also loves to help daddy at work on the Excavator!

He went to the Woodland Park Zoo with his best friend Wyatt!

Maddix loves to sleep in with daddy on Saturdays!

He has also mastered standing up in his crib. We had to move his mattress all the way down and I am sure it's not long before I find him climbing his way out!

Huskies Suck

Hmmmm. I think my parents are trying to brainwash their grandson. They tried this with Darick also and about 10 he decided he would be a Husky. Eventually he came around though. Love you Darick!

Playing is hard work

Maddix has been busy playing with all his toys more and more. Today he played alot before going down for a nap.

As you can see he was so tired that he fell asleep face down with his hands over his eyes. He is so cute when he curles up in a ball in his crib.

This is the result of sleeping on your hands.

We hit a Deer!

We went as a family to the races 2 weeks ago. The night went great Maddix slept through most the races, our friends Buck and Danielle were there, and most of all we got out of the house! Things went down hill when we left however. We were coming out of the parking lot and they told me I could only go right. I was super tired and knew I didnt want to go all the way to alger and then home, but thats what they told me I had to do. Then suddenly a Deer! He went skipping across the road just in time to meet my bumper. Ian then proceeded to beg for us to pick the deer up. I was already scared and mad that my car was hurt so of course I told him no we were not putting the deer in the back of my BMW but if he wanted he could take his own truck up and get it.  Luckily we are all ok just $7,400 damage to my car and 2 weeks in a rental.

Moral of the story. Maddix got his first buck at 5 mos old!

Maddix is obsessed with his new toy! He loves it because he can stand and there is ALOT to look at! Sometimes it even (wares) Sp? him out!

Mexico April 2010

Well we have officially taken Maddix on his first plane trip! We went back to Cabo and stayed where Ian and I spent our honeymoon! Wow its a different place when you have kids! We had a great time and Maddix did great! He loved the plane, pool and all the walking around we did! Some highlights of his trip was getting to see his sissy and getting his pic taken with the Hooters Girls!

Ian's New Tatoo

We got to go last week and see Bandana Mike after hours at his tatoo shop and Ian got Maddix's name on his arm. He has had Kennedy on his other arm for quite some time and now it was time to get Maddix. We had such a great time and Maddix LOVED Mike! They talked and talked and smiled at eachother. HMMMM? What to do if we have more kids? Ian only has 2 arms.

Maddix 3 Month Pictures

Maddix got his 3 month pictures back today! We had so much fun taking them this month. He was so happy and was a ham for the camera. I think I love him more everyday if thats possible. He is such a wonderful little boy and I cannot wait to see the young man he is going to become. Daddy and I love you Maddix.

Beach Cabin 2010

Maddix spent his first weekend at the cabin! We went out early Saturday morning and spent the day lounging around and walking with Bella and Maddix. On Sunday Auntie Nicole called and she and Dan came and spent all day Sunday with us! What fun! Maddix loved the water. It was so cold but he didn't care he just wanted to be on the porch where he could listen and look at the water!

Maddix went Boating!

Well it was that time of year that Winter Camp on the boats comes around again. We debated on going since Maddix is so small but when we got invited to go on the Mains boat and stay in a cabin on Cypress Island we were in! The weekend started out by Uncle D coming over Friday to watch the Olympics and helped us pack. I got out Maddix's life jacket for a trial run. He was not sure what to think but didn't cry! Luckily Uncle D SAVED him from the jacket and got some snuggle time in too. Then first thing Saturday we were off to Anacortes to get on the boat. Maddix did great! The water was pretty rough Saturday getting out there. Tamar and I looked at eachother a couple times and questioned our decision to go as we are both Fare Weather Boaters ONLY! We made it mid afternoon after putting in some hard fishing time with the boys (of course we stayed in the boat cabin and gossiped and read trashy magazines) When we got to shore Pam and Ali were there to welcome us and even had a ton of baby toys, swings, crib and everything to make Maddix feel like at home. We had a delicious meal and camp fire before turning in for the night. We returned mid day Sunday and all came to the conclusion Maddix is a GREAT Boater. We cant wait to go again!
